"Wow," Her grey eyes were large, adding to her bewilderment. She looked like a psych ward patient with her wild hair, dirty face, and big eyes. "I don't think I'd ever have survived."

She pulled two cases out of her backpack, one being the case for her contacts, the other being the case for her glasses. As she talked, she removed her contacts from her eyes. "I was the second youngest; my brothers were both star athletes everywhere we went, Sam freaking.." She sighed, "Sam was the favorite and everyone knew it. It was easy to tell. I was the kid that couldn't get anything right, didn't pass my classes, couldn't play sports. I'm good at being something I'm not though. I've always been good at that." A sly grin crossed her face and she pushed her glasses up onto her nose with a snort.

"All people change, Dan" Savannah sat up and dug through the pocket of her jeans. She pulled out a tiny plastic doll, dull from age. "Sometimes you have to remember why change is good. I mean, look at me. For once, I'm being seen for myself and not my super amazing siblings." She collapsed onto the carpet and stared at the ceiling for a while before simply stating, "Life's rough."
