A cold air blew through the red hair of strange, demonic-looking boy as he sat calmly in Liridale. This wasn't unusual for the Pixie. He was always leaned against a tree, or perhaps actually in the tree, watching the many citizen pass by. He never really spoke to them, there wasn't much point. It seemed pointless to go off talking to people who would either ask for too much or ignore him entirely. So, the Pixie sat and watched.
Of course, he couldn't fake the kind of interest he had when a certain villain approached him. His eyebrows raised, if only slightly. Was he actually coming this way? The narcissistic, self-proclaimed leader of Liridale was headed toward him? A small smile came to his face as Lucius spoke up.
"Oi." Kabal's smile widened. He looked up lazily and gave a small nod, if only to show that he was listening. It was amazing how quickly the people of Liridale had noticed the lazy pixie. He was shocked the self-proclaimed leader hadn't bothered him earlier, considering how many times Kabal had stared at Lucius with less than energetic interest.
"Heard you were looking for a place to belong. Well, since I have no taste for dancing around things, I'll come right out and say it, I would love for you to come and serve under me, my domain is always expanding, and always in need of people of any sort. We'd find you your place, and then get straight to work. Is that agreeable to you?" Kabal slowly raised a hand to scratch his head before he thought about a response. How much effort would this take...? It would allow him to observe the leader at a closer level, so it may be interesting...
"My place...?" His voice came out scratchy. Odd, he hadn't spoken in longer than he thought. "That's interesting, I wasn't aware I had one." He smiled darkly and stood shakily. He had lost quite a lot of strength in his time here, perhaps he should eat something soon... He glanced Lucius over before grinning a slightly unsettling grin.
"Well... If you want me to work for you, I can't say I would mind," He sighed softly and stretched lazily, "I'm worth very little, as my wings are tattered, my magic is weak, and I'm nothing but a pain to look at, but I'll gladly follow you around if needed." With this, Kabal crossed his arms and stared a Lucius.
So this was who was going to be leading him around now? Interesting. He would have to do. Kabal closed his eyes for a moment. Would this get him off the streets of Liridale? Perhaps he could see his homeland again... A small smile came to his face. That was a nice thought. He opened his eyes, ignoring the pain that he had just realized he was in. He should take better care of himself... But what was the point?
"So, what will you have me do, master?"
