When she opened her eyes, Terra recoiled with a groan, and her hands quickly flew over her face. It was so bright outside...sheesh, what had she been doing last night? Her head ached like crazy, and the garments upon her body felt too stiff to be her nightclothes, but not stiff enough to be her school uniform...and she hadn't even bothered to pull the blankets over herself, either.

It took her several minutes to remember that she was trapped in the death game known as Sword Art Online, as the player Hisui. With a sigh, she stood up and began to stretch, feeling much more relieved than she usually did...it seemed she had slept a lot longer this time than she usually got to. Not that it really made the situation any less worrisome, though...

All the same, Hisui wondered what was going on in the real world. Were the people out there worrying about how Terra Himene had suddenly disappeared from the world? What were her parents thinking? Or Fuji? Did anyone out there care at all? Hisui didn't have a clue about the answers to any of these, but she could only hope that she wasn't scaring Fuji to death out there.

She could remember clearly what had happened last night, with the Little Nepent Trap, and Amber, who set it off. That made Hisui wonder, how was that girl doing? Perhaps she'd meet that girl again...but first, she had to find the Little Nepent's Ovule.

Pinching the thumb and index finger on her right hand together, she held them just above her line of sight and pulled them downwards. A number of icons faded into view and slid down the line that her fingers had traced through the air. To the left was a white window with a silhouette of her body, as well as small pictures detailing the equipment she had equipped, as well as her proficiency in the skills she had placed in each of her slots. After checking that all her equipment was in the right place, Hisui pressed a button to access her items, and with a few more presses on the interface, two potions materialized in midair and landed in her hands. In a short time, she had these in her pockets, and was ready to go off.

Then Hisui noticed the clock.

Her face paled, and she quickly turned on her heel to run out the door. The forests were bound to be full of players now. Hisui's chances of getting the Ovule were all but completely dashed now.

After running for several minutes, Hisui finally came to a stop in the same clearing in which she and Amber had battled the Nepents. She drew her sword, and looked around, waiting for one to spawn. All she would have to do was avoid the one with the fruit this time...

Right then, a Nepent spawned a few meters in front of Hisui. The hooded girl leaped into action just as quickly, and in a short amount of time, she had disposed of it without taking too much damage to herself or her clothes. It would be a lot easier thanks to her experience from last night.
