Daisy threw her arms around Alex when he hugged her. It was the kind of tight hug that you throw your entire being into. They were so close, she could feel his heartbeat. Being like this soothed her, and made her feel so much better. He pulled back to gaze into her eyes, and she smiled warmly at him. She nodded when he told her not to worry, that he was a part of this too. "I love you, and I did this too. We are in this together, no matter what. and we can make it work, somehow someway." He told her, and she melted. She felt all of her fears evaporate.
He hugged her again, and she rested her cheek on his shoulder. "I love you too. So much." She whispered. These words uplifted her, and killed her at the same time. She did love him, with every fiber of her being. But she was in love with Finn, too.
Alex let go of her, and hopped off of her bed. He then extended his hand out to her, with that smile that made her heart skip a beat. "Come on beautiful, the world awaits you." She smiled brightly in response, and laced her fingers with his. Being shorter than him, she stood on her toes to give him a kiss.
