"Jennova told me earlier that you and Jennora were friends. Let's go see her before anyone else does." Valentine said, grabbing Reyna by the arm and dragging her into the mansion. The large interior generously applied with sparkly decor was impressive, but what really sealed the deal for Reyna was the food. Oh gosh, her stomach was getting the best of her again. She made a mental note to try and get her odd food habits under control and smiled shyly when they finally reached the blue haired girl at the other end of the room who immediately grabbed them into a hug.
"It's been so long since I've seen the two of you. Thank you so much for coming. I'm so excited I'm here to stay." Jennora told the both of them before hugging the two girls again. Reyna's shy smile melted into one of actual joy, "it hasn't been easy without you." She stated a bit awkwardly, having never been good at casual conversation. "Do you think that you'll return to school? Or lay low for a while?" Reyna could really use a friend there, the kids were brutal and the one that weren't in the popular circle were just weird, but that was high school for you.
Her phone buzzed again and she slipped her hand into her bag to turn it off, meetings weren't important to her and she had already informed the Sargent that she was taking the night off, which meant either they really wanted her to come to this meeting or that there was an attack. She chose to believe the former and quieted the nagging voice in the back of her head. "I've really missed you," and it was true, Reyna had missed Jennora, her only ally on this God forsaken planet.
