Serena woke up with s start, looking around. Finally, she realized where she was. She hadn't wanted to go to camp; what if she said something stupid, or did something stupid, or just plain looked stupid? But her parents had insisted, and, for all that she didn't want to go, she gave in fairly easily. She sighed; why did her parents have to be so pushy? She glanced around, seeing a few other girls packing, getting ready to go swimming. She bit her lip before getting up herself. She stayed in a corner, away from the girls, where she could at least try to ignore them. She carefully folded extra clothing and her bathing suit into her bag, before nodding to herself. That should be everything. Her snacks were hidden underneath the clothing, so no one could take them. She glanced around again; the others were taking a while, since they were taking the time to chat and gossip with each other. She shook her head before walking out of the tent, and to the main camp area. She decided she'd stand and wait, nervously biting her lip. Hopefully this wouldn't take too long; she wanted to go home!
