As Vance walked upon the deck he was approached by someone he never thought he would meet, Rear Admiral Sandra Lionel. Vance stumbling over himself, quickly stood at attention. As she addressed him, she gave were the reasons for his sudden reassignment. Vance was assigned to Brown Wing? They had some rather talented pilots in that group wasn't there? Whatever that case it was quite an honor to be called by name and assigned to them. Not to mention the next bit of news. "Corporal!?" He blurted out by accident. Nervously chuckling Vance regained his composure. "Y-yes, thank you sir!" "Or- er-Ma'am?!" Vance stuttered. He was rather flustered by the whole ordeal. He then nervously chuckled again as he saluted her.

Then she held out her hand. Vance made a huge gulp as he was somewhat flabbergasted. He then made another chuckle as he shook her hand. Though slightly hesitant at first he gave a fine shake. "Y-yes, thank you for the honor again." He said with an awkward smile. Even the way he stood at attention was awkward. A bit slumped as his knees shook with anticipation. Yet most of all was that silly sideways smile. What a buffoon she must think I am! Vance thought. Hardly the stuff of a legends...she must think there was some mistake. Vance thought.
