Valar had observed the whole thing. Why the soldiers had scattered was baffling to him he had his bow drawn ready to start a diversion but was glad he hadn't been needed. He preferred less lethal methods when it was feasible. However as he watched the two of them walking back to his hiding spot, something had changed. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but all was not as it had once been. Oh well that was a problem for later. For now they had to head to the next city, if it became a problem. Well he would deal with that when it came.
