An awkward silence had descended and Carla couldn't help but blame it on herself. It must be hard for Ceralis having just confessed his feelings and than Carla avoiding it, but she didn't know what to do. Ya he was a nice guy and she did enjoy his company, not to mention he knew how to look after himself and had saved her on more than one occasion, if she was ever going to survive out her than she would need him... But that didn't make it love... Right?
Giving a small exhausted sigh, Carla brought two finger up to her lips and blew. A shrill whistle came free and soon the sound of beating wings filled the air as Light descended to land. Walking side by side, Carla placed a hand on lights hide for comfort before giving another small, worried sigh. The usually sarcastic and egotistic Light remained silent the whole time, understanding his partner didn't need him to talk now, just be with her.
