Valar belched loudly as he set his next pitcher down. He looked over, Carla was talking to a weedy looking man with a lute on his back and Ceralis was at the bar, Good man. He was aware that over the course of the night many people had been handing him money as part of his cut, he didn't know what it was for seeing as he hadn't cut anyone yet tonight. Oh well, he walked over to the bar and plonked himself down next to Ceralis thumping a hand on his back. Then he started to chant as he pointed at different bottles on the shelf behind the bartender.
"Maple. Maypole.
Catch and carry.
Ash and Ember.
Elderberry."He motioned the bartender to pour a good measure of it into a cup. He smelled it and it did actually smell like elderberry, he grunted his approval and continued to chant.
Woolen. Woman.
Moon at night.
Willow. Window.
Candlelight.
He had the bartender pour a small measure of that bottle into the cup as well, smelled it frowned at it, and poured a small measure of his ale in it for good luck the passed it to Ceralis who was giving him a bit of an odd look
