I slammed down my drink and started acting drunk. I gave the guy a hug but nearly fell over my mouth near his ear. "If you hurt her in any way I promise you I will hang you from the bar sign by your intestines and let wild dogs devour your nethers." I fell back into my chair knowing only he heard me. "Funny joke Isn't It?" I asked grinning like a fool before ordering a large cup of rum. "Hey Valar I bet you a pint of scotch I can drink more than you." I said a hand on my knife the other waved the bartender over.

I started the song and the whole bar joined including the bartender. I was looking at Carla and the man out of the corner of my eye. My hand stayed on my knife just in case I had to attack the person.
