Valar was now confused. He could see Ceralis was upset by this newcomer but couldn't tell why, surely he didn't think that this man was a threat to them. He thought about it for a while, took a long pull of his ale then looked over. Ah no wonder Ceralis was upset, his drink was empty, Valar took his empty mug out of his hand and passed him the drink he'd used the rhyme to pour. Strong enough to cheer up a team of oxen that one was. He stood up to greet the little man after the song was over, and extended his hand crushing the other mans in his grip. Towering over him by almost a foot he bared his teeth in a grimace of a smile. He recalled that Ceralis spoke his language and started speaking loudly at the man in his native tounge, but for Ceralis' benefit.

"Why is he so small, and what is he doing with Carla? Should we see how far I can throw him? I have heard that is a measure of trust with your people. You must trust someone as far as you can throw them. He seems very trustworthy."
