That man had just killed someone in cold blood, with a weapon that Valar had never seen before. It made his blood boil, his every instinct said to launch himself at the man and end this threat. However these new weapons appeared powerful so Valar would need to deceive him. The man was still reeling from Carlas' slap when Valar approached him. Standing over the man he looked him over, surprised the one so weedy could own weapons like that.

Valar spoke, "This is for the damages" and as the puzzled man inquired about what damages he flipped him a coin high in the air. As the man was distracted watching the coin Valars' fist snaked out catching the man a crushing blow to the nose causing him to stagger back and land on his knees. He tried to rise but Valar had followed up and delivered such a kick that the man left the floor. His weapons now having been sent flying into different corners of the room were out of the equation. Valar lifted the man off his knees by the front of his shirt, and headbutted him, crushing his already broken nose and causing him to black out from the pain. After that he called for some rope and the man was bound to a chair. Ceralis had been right to remove Carla, she was too sensitive a soul for this type of work. Now finding himself quite sober after the adrenaline shooting through his body Valar took the mans purse. If this man would not obey the laws or follow the unspoken social contract, then neither of these things would protect him.

Ceralis came downstairs. Valar turned to him holding the mans purse. "This man has just offered to pay for drinks for the entire bar to mitigate his rudeness, isn't that right?" He turned to the man during that last part and with one hand gripping the mans hair to bring his face up, the other moved his mouth. "Yes, I have." Valar spoke imitating the mans voice.
