Julie woke from a foggy dream to a cold metal floor. Groaning, she lifted her cheek away, wiping at the drool which had collected there. It took a moment before her vision returned to normal, not that it would help. All around her was silver. Pushing to her feet, she felt the confusion wash over her. This wasn't her bathroom. She remembered being in a bathroom, getting her newest shot ready. But... She rubbed at her eyes with the balls of both hands before running her fingers through her messy blonde hair. In front of her she could make out the outline of a door. She let out a quiet 'oh' before quickly stepping forwards and trying to push on it. There was no handle, and so she had to attempt to her her nails under the edges and pull. It wasn't working and she was becoming worried. "Hello?" she yelled, smacking at the door. "Hello, can anybody hear me?"
She realised no one was coming, retreating back to the wall beside her. What had she done? She'd wrapped the tourniquet around her bicep... And then... then... Nothing.
She gasped when the single light above her flickered out and she was plunged into complete darkness. She pressed up against the wall as a white light blared from the wall in front of her. Blinking against the shock of light change, she struggled to read the words. Each sentence, however, shot her heart into overdrive. "No!" she cried. "No! No, let me go! Please! I never hurt anybody! Please there's been a mistake!" She slammed her fists against the door, continuing her shouting until she felt her knees crumple beneath her.
She scrambed back quickly as the door whooshed open. A blast of frigid air met her skin and she reached for the unfamiliar brown pull button up that someone had wrapped around her waist. Pulling it over her shoulders and snuggling into it, she stood and proceeded to look out into the hall. The screen said there was room... Perhaps she should follow it. Twitching her hands nervously, she padded out slowly, looking into each dark room to see more people. Four men, three women. A few of them were much older than her, others looked not much older. She spoke to none, instead continued to the rec room, before fleeing to where the directions said there'd been a bathroom. Dashing in, she opened the tiny white cabinette above the sink.
"C'mon..." she groaned helplessly, looking for anything. She had no idea how long she'd been out, but she knew she needed another hit. "No pills!" she cried, slamming open the rest of the cabinettes. She shouted something unintelligble before slamming at the cupboard doors. "Fuck!"
