"Have you ever heard of 'choosing your battles'?"He asked rhetorically. Jacqueline arched an eyebrow. "When you have enough hypocritical assholes around you in a given day -each one giving you the urge to punch them in the face as they continue to judge or yell at you...Drinking at 10 in the morning seems like the more appropriate urge to given in to," He said and Jacqueline just shook her head. "Present company excluded from that 'list' of hypocritical assholes or course." He said raising his glass to her.
"Of Course." Jacqueline said with a roll of her eyes, and a small scoff of a laugh.
"Besides...I do my best work while I'm buzzed...or worse." he smirked and Jacqueline gave him a dry expression. "At least the 'work' I remember.",
Jacqueline rolled her eyes but there was a small hint of a smile on her lips. "Whatever, Smartass, Do as you please, however, I've experienced you drive whilst sober, I refuse to be in the czr with you while 'Buzzed'" she said air quoting. "From now on, I'll drive." She said. "Or we walk, either way, You aren't driving." She said emphatically, just as her tea was set in front of her. She nodded thanks and took a sip before adding a bit more sugar, and a squirt of lemon.
