The hitman was quite perturbed, and with good reason. However, as he waved the gun around making threats, the Batman decided it was only polite to requite Bachman's questions. "Number one: Who I am is of no consequence to you right now, and what we have to talk about is everything concerning you and the Yakuza. Two: even if you could land a hit with that coward's weapon, it wouldn't do anything to keep me from tearing you apart. And three: If you don't, you'll find yourself dead in a gutter before the night is over, and she is still quite young..."

The Batman trailed off, scoping out the bedroom. "I know why Machida wants your head. I also know he's coming after you tonight; it's what I would do. Question is, who do you have coming to back you up?" Something was amiss here. The Batman's eyes shifted to the flooring under the rather well-made bed; not sleeping in it for days contributed to that. A man like Bachman probably had some things tucked away under there, among other places throughout the apartment. However, making a move for anything under there would be counter-productive unless he knocked Bachman unconscious first. The downside to that would be needing Bachman awake for questioning.

"So, where you planning on going after you skip town, Bachman?" the Dark Knight pressed. It was an obvious question: the hitman would be downright idiotic to remain here after confronting Jackie and his gang. The problem remaining now was what the confrontation would entail, and who would walk away from it alive. The Batman sought to ensure that no one lost their life in this encounter. He'd more than likely have to break a few bones to ensure that plan would proceed smoothly.
