~~~Morning~~~

It was dawn, I felt it in the air. The most mist of dew made it hard for me to move. It's not that it hurt me, but it made kind of irritated. It almost felt like I had small aches everywhere. I sat up from the soft bed and couldn't bring it myself to wake up. But, I realized onto how important this problem was. Satey and I couldn't just sleep there all morning, dreaming about something to get away from the current situation.

I flung myself out of bed, quite literally, and splatted against the wall. I slid up and got to my feet, walking over to Satey. Tapping her shoulders I said, "We have to keep moving, that man is still after us." I reached for my satchel of antidote that was lying on the floor just in case I got too wet on this journey. Then I walked over to the vertical tunnel once more and found the ladder lying on the ground. I took the ladder into my hands and slid it up to the cover. I climbed up and peeked through the lid slightly. There was no army waiting for us, no drones storming the area. It was all quiet and the birds chirping made me believe that no one was in this area. I looked down and projected my voice to Satey, "All clear."

I got out of the safe haven and reached for one of the soldier pistols lying on the ground. I handed it to Satey and said, "You have this to protect yourself. Don't worry, if it's your first time using a weapon you'll learn quick." I placed the satchel on my shoulder and started walking towards the north. "We have another town about 4 miles from here. We probably can find food and water, maybe even a car with it's keys still inside. Come."
