Standing toe to toe with him would be time-consuming and wouldn't allow him the time he needed to flee the scene before the authorities got involved. After last time, he'd prefer to not tangle with the police before he had sufficient time to develop a counteraction to their methods and equipment.

For now, though, he had Jackie to contend with. "Regardless, I can't let you walk away from here." With that, he rushed the Yakuza, cupped hands aimed at Jackie's ears for a disorienting blow that would cause the air created to pop in his eardrums. Following that was a knee aimed for the gut, which would in turn be followed by a roundhouse kick to the chest.

Finally, if all else failed, the Batman would attempt to neutralize Jackie with the taser on his belt, channeling one hundred thousand volts down the wire.
