I looked in the direction of Satey and laughed along as well. I said, "Well, it's sounds like you have a wonderful family." I gazed into space for one moment or two but I realized that I was still driving. I got off the right side of the road slightly and steered to the left jerking-like, as if I was being pulled out of a slumber. I came to and shook my head. I glanced at Satey and laughed nervously, "Sorry, got lost in my thoughts there." We continued down the road, conversing about situations that we've been in, places we've traveled. Just the general stuff so that we got to know each other better. Minutes turned into hours and soon enough, the SUV we were in had run out of gas.

I opened the door and saw that the almost barren mountains of Texas were replaced with lush-green oak and pine trees. We crossed the border a while ago and we were now in southwestern Arkansas, by my guess. The sun was setting on the horizon at the road behind us. The painting of the light pinks and the strong oranges in the sky really did take my breath away. The trees made speckles in the sky as plant and air intertwined with each other. I often was the kind of person who never really looked at the little things in traveling, but, boy was this view great. "Have you ever seen something so amazing?" I asked, smiling towards her. I waited for her answer and breathed in as the sun set.

Suddenly, I had this sudden feeling of a deprived need like I often did. I breathed differently, slightly more short paced than the average human. It was like I had a thirst for the sun, but I knew that the next day would give me a drink again. "We have to keep moving; we need to be as ahead of the group as possible." I grasped and let her latch onto my back. "Hold on, I can still run when the sun is down." When she grasped me I asked, "Are you ready?"
