Christian Mason
Christian sat on his bed and stared at the wall, completely bored and wondering what Maisie was up to. He was still in his pajamas and had yet to do anything remotely productive that day. He decided he would see what she was up to when he didn't look like something off the streets. While he glanced through his closet, he sighed to himself as he realized that with school starting in a few months he wouldn't be spending nearly as much time with her. Soon enough homework and papers would get in the way of what little time they had and they'd have to cling to the weekends. Maybe that's why he loved Summer so much, Christian realized. Maybe Maisie was what made it his favorite season, and not just the nice weather and prime opportunity for a tan.
The thought of her always made him smile; she was so different than him, but so alike at the same time. He usually could bring out her inner confidence and spirit, and prided himself on this. Maisie and he were closer than he'd ever had in any type of friendship or relationship before, and he found himself cherishing even little moments with her like her tossing pebbles at his window to get his attention. They both kept bowls near their window sill of pebbles; it had been her idea when they'd first became friends, long before this pleasant Summer's morning.
He chuckled to himself and picked out a comfortable, yet stylish outfit as always and just as he was lacing up his shoes, heard the familiar sound of a pebble hitting his bedroom window. He'd closed the curtains earlier this morning to sleep in and totally forgot to re-open them. Christian smiled and headed towards his window, notepad and marker in hand. He waved cheerily at Maisie and waited for her to write first. The sight of her always made his day a millions time better.
