The boy screamed, his voice garbled by the demon's, as he was burned by the necklace and the hold water. He let go of Owen neck as the demon writhed inside him before suddenly being wrenched free. He stumbled for a moment, bleary and unaware of what was going on before crumpling to the ground suddenly.
Owen coughed, his eyes watering as his throat burned, but he kept his hold on the demon, watching as it writhed in his fist. He glared at it as Everett chanted, wishing it away, wishing to send it back to the farthest reaches of the hell it had come from. His eyes burned with anger as he thought of what it had tried to do, and that was all the boost he needed. He grabbed hold of the devil spawn with his other hand and torn it's spirit in too, sending wisps of it flying off in all directions.
Olivia turned and watched in awe, staring as the scene unfolded. "...I'm just supposed to protect you, Gen...", he replied, not tearing his eyes away from the demon fight. "...and... I think they have it taken care of..."
