A few days passed by in relative normalcy. Olivia and Genesis went to school while Jackson stayed home. His demon had yet to make another appearance, though most of the doors were still warded as a precaution. He was doing well in his home lessons though... Owen taught him a bit about the supernatural, and Everett was making good work of teaching him the basis of being a hunter.

Olivia on the other hand, had been pouring through the assorted grimoires and book of shadows his father had amassed. Most of the stuff in them was still way out of his skill level, but he really enjoyed learning what he could. He would sit for hours after school reading through the large tomes, and when he wanted to practice something, it wasn't hard to get Jackson to agree to be a test subject.

Even Owen was enjoying the relative peace and quiet. Well... as peaceful and quiet as a house with three teens could be. He would have been lying if he said that he didn't enjoy taking care of them though. He'd missed having a family... and that's what they had become. Everett was a father to the teens, and Owen... was... The djinn frowned. Yeah, best not to go down that line of thought, especially considering how he and Everett slept curled up together each night.

All in all though, the days passed quite nicely. Probably too nicely.

With all that had happened the past few days, Everett wasn't surprised how settled he'd become. Everything was so less stressing. He didn't have to worry about hunting every day or every night, or keeping a look out for every little thing. Sure, he'd gotten offers to hunt some supernaturals, but when he looked, he didn't find that they had done anything wrong. He spend most of his time getting things straightened around the new house. Things like changing the locks, windows, doors, putting up wards, and various other things. It was easy to say that the house was well protected.

"Um.. Everett?", Jackson stated as he watched the man finish installing new glass in one of the living room windows. "You've gotten like six texts on your phone." He held up the phone in question, which chose that moment to light up and start beeping again. "Says they're from Olivia." He went on, looking at the messages. "First one says "Weird things going on at school." Next is "We're okay, but come get us."" He frowned and continued clicking buttons on the phone. "The next few are blank... but the last one says... "WW-M Confirmed E. Market St. HS"

Everett froze for a second before hurrying over. "Why didn't he just call me?!" He snapped as he took his phone, sending a reply that simply stated "On my way." He paused for a second before looking at Jackson. "You want to lean about werewolves today?" He asked as he watched the teen. "It'll be a first hand experience after all." He added as he grabbed his things. "Owen! I'm going out to get Olivia and Genesis!" He called as he made his way to the door.

Owen made his way to the door quickly at Everett's call, watching as he and Jackson climbed in the car. "What's going on?", he called back, though he could tell it was something serious. With a frown, he hurried over to the car, climbing in the back since Jackson had taken up the front passenger seat. "I'm going too.", he insisted, knowing whatever it was, he would be more helpful than not.

Jackson strapped himself into the car, looking back at Owen as he climbed in. "There's a werewolf at the school.", he said, almost awestruck at the thought. He couldn't even fathom how a werewolf, of all things, had gotten to the school. He'd never even seen a werewolf.

Everett was quick to speed off down the street. He had to get to the school as soon as he could, even if it means breaking several laws all at once. "Olivia sent me several texts and confirmed that it's a male werewolf. What I don't understand is why it would be at the school." He explained as he took a sharp turn. There was no time to lose, he couldn't just leave his son and Genesis in danger, let alone every other teenager and teacher at the school.

When they arrived at the school, it was to see an ambulance waiting outside and several cops gathered around as well. They seemed to be on pretty high alert, and strangely enough, they were accompanied by the city's animal control. Jackson frowned and looked at all the people, sinking down into his seat slightly. Since he was technically supposed to be dead, getting spotted by police officers wasn't really a good idea.

Owen was out of the car as soon as they slowed enough though and made his way quickly over to the officers. "What's going on?", he called out, playing the role of a concerned relative. "My nephew goes here!" The police weren't too forthcoming but Owen heard a few of them talking about a student being attacked by a feral dog. With a frown, Owen made his way back over to Everett, relaying the information to him. "It got a student.", he said grimly. "And then think it's just a dog..."

Everett looked about ready to push passed the officers, but thankfully Olivia saved him from getting arrested. "Dad!", he called, hurrying over from the direction of the school, Genesis quick on his heels. "I scared it off.", he stated, coming to a stop beside the group and panting slightly. "I think it was only after me..."

"That was no dog." Genesis stated as they reached the car. "That was far from just a dog and I'm not even an expert here!" He said, leaning against the car. "This whole thing is messed!" He added with a groan. At least they got to leave school early, but this wasn't exactly the best circumstances to be thankful of a vacation.

Everett frowned and looked over his son. "Only you? Why do you think that?" He questioned. It was strange for a werewolf to be out and about in the middle of the day like that, let alone near people who would be able to possibly kill it. It didn't make any sense unless they were doing some serious hunting of some sort.

"I felt like something was watching most of the day.", Olivia stammered, obviously a little worked up. "So I tried to stay around a lot of people... I was heading to gym though, and I was alone and it came out of nowhere." He frowned and looked towards the ambulance. "Genesis was coming out of the gym with one of his teammates and the guy went after it with a hockey stick... but it attacked him. I did one of my spells though and I think I hurt it! It ran off after that."

Owen went over to Genesis, leaning beside him and doing his best to calm the teen down. "You two are safe..", he said softly, though he glanced over at the ambulance. "Everett and I will get this thing, don't worry..."

"So, is Jace going to become a werewolf or something because I think this hockey team has enough supernatural people on it." Genesis stated as he went around and got in the car. He didn't like any of this. Why would a werewolf even bother going to the school, or going after Olivia at that?

Everett placed a hand on Olivia's shoulder and nodded. "You did good, but we need to get you home where it's safe. Owen and I will go after this wolf once all three of you are locked up in the house. It won't get you in there, there's too many wards." He explained. "Besides, both you and Jackson know how to use the weapons we have, so if something tries to get in, or somehow manages to get in, then you kill it." He instructed as he got back into the car.

Olivia nodded solemnly and climbed into the car beside Genesis. He was still a bit shaken up about the entire mess, but the djinn next to him was obviously taking it worse. "Jace will be fine.", he insisted, scooting close to Genesis and placing a hand on his arm. "I don't think he got bitten, just scratched a bit... He'll only turn if he got bitten." Though.. Olivia knew first hand how easily a human could die at the hands of a wolf...

Jackson frowned as Everett spoke, not really liking what he was saying. "I'm not staying home!", he argued. "I hardly leave the house as it is and you said you would show me how to deal with this. So I'm not staying home. If the house is so well warded then Liv and Gen will be fine, so I'm going with you and Owen."

Everett frowned back at Jackson. "Werewolves are not something that a kid like you should mess with, but you're right, with the house warded then they should be fine. If anything Genesis would probably make something to kill the thing appear, just as long as he doesn't blow up the house or something." He explained as they drove back to the house. Genesis didn't seem all that happy to have been slightly made fun of though.

Olivia climbed out of the car when they arrived back at the house and pulled Genesis along with him. He hurried inside with the djinn and closed the doors behind them, making sure the wards were active. He had plenty of faith in his father and knew that he would be alright. It seemed like it was just one werewolf, and his dad could handle that, especially with Owen and Jackson along to help out.

Jackson silently cheered from the backseat, though he was insanely nervous as well. He was going to help take down a werewolf... crazy. "So how do we track this thing?", he asked, looking up at Owen and Everett in the front seats.

Owen sighed and looked back at the house as they drove away. "First we'll check the wooded areas around the school.... though werewolves normally don't come out in the day." The djinn cursed to himself. "He's probably already changed back by now and that will make it a pain to find him."

It seemed like all Everett could do was frown more as he spoke. "Even a single wolf has some kind of den. If we find it, we'll find the wolf." He explained as they sped off once again. He was more than ready, but werewolves weren't something he liked to mess with. There was no time to lose if the wolf was still out and about, though something made Everett pull the car over and park it. Wolves followed their prey, and if they were after Olivia, then they would've followed him. "The wolf is close by, keep a look out for anyone strange, even if they look any kind of normal."
