Olivia on the other hand, had been pouring through the assorted grimoires and book of shadows his father had amassed. Most of the stuff in them was still way out of his skill level, but he really enjoyed learning what he could. He would sit for hours after school reading through the large tomes, and when he wanted to practice something, it wasn't hard to get Jackson to agree to be a test subject.
Even Owen was enjoying the relative peace and quiet. Well... as peaceful and quiet as a house with three teens could be. He would have been lying if he said that he didn't enjoy taking care of them though. He'd missed having a family... and that's what they had become. Everett was a father to the teens, and Owen... was... The djinn frowned. Yeah, best not to go down that line of thought, especially considering how he and Everett slept curled up together each night.
All in all though, the days passed quite nicely. Probably too nicely.

Jackson strapped himself into the car, looking back at Owen as he climbed in. "There's a werewolf at the school.", he said, almost awestruck at the thought. He couldn't even fathom how a werewolf, of all things, had gotten to the school. He'd never even seen a werewolf.

Owen was out of the car as soon as they slowed enough though and made his way quickly over to the officers. "What's going on?", he called out, playing the role of a concerned relative. "My nephew goes here!" The police weren't too forthcoming but Owen heard a few of them talking about a student being attacked by a feral dog. With a frown, Owen made his way back over to Everett, relaying the information to him. "It got a student.", he said grimly. "And then think it's just a dog..."
Everett looked about ready to push passed the officers, but thankfully Olivia saved him from getting arrested. "Dad!", he called, hurrying over from the direction of the school, Genesis quick on his heels. "I scared it off.", he stated, coming to a stop beside the group and panting slightly. "I think it was only after me..."

Everett frowned and looked over his son. "Only you? Why do you think that?" He questioned. It was strange for a werewolf to be out and about in the middle of the day like that, let alone near people who would be able to possibly kill it. It didn't make any sense unless they were doing some serious hunting of some sort.

Owen went over to Genesis, leaning beside him and doing his best to calm the teen down. "You two are safe..", he said softly, though he glanced over at the ambulance. "Everett and I will get this thing, don't worry..."

Everett placed a hand on Olivia's shoulder and nodded. "You did good, but we need to get you home where it's safe. Owen and I will go after this wolf once all three of you are locked up in the house. It won't get you in there, there's too many wards." He explained. "Besides, both you and Jackson know how to use the weapons we have, so if something tries to get in, or somehow manages to get in, then you kill it." He instructed as he got back into the car.

Jackson frowned as Everett spoke, not really liking what he was saying. "I'm not staying home!", he argued. "I hardly leave the house as it is and you said you would show me how to deal with this. So I'm not staying home. If the house is so well warded then Liv and Gen will be fine, so I'm going with you and Owen."

Jackson silently cheered from the backseat, though he was insanely nervous as well. He was going to help take down a werewolf... crazy. "So how do we track this thing?", he asked, looking up at Owen and Everett in the front seats.
Owen sighed and looked back at the house as they drove away. "First we'll check the wooded areas around the school.... though werewolves normally don't come out in the day." The djinn cursed to himself. "He's probably already changed back by now and that will make it a pain to find him."
