Everett picked up the coffee cup once more and carefully handed it to the overly tired djinn. "You were hit. By a car." He said flatly, turning his attention back to the boy. "Whatever you were apparently told, was true." He added, still watching the boy closely. "Do you feel like you were hit by a moving vehicle? Because you were." Was this boy ever going to get it through his head? "Really though, since you're pretty much fine now thanks to my friend here," he gestured to Owen. "you can go home if you really want to. I'm not going to stop you. But you're going to have to come to terms with yourself eventually."

Genesis watched all of this, though chuckling at his uncle's misfortunes a bit. He was still pretty tired, but he felt a lot better than he did before. What he couldn't figure out though was why this guy couldn't remember being possessed by a demon? Or being hit by the car? Or really anything else that had happened that day. Maybe he was just lying?
