Fires raged all throughout the camp, plumes of smoke billowed upward, and bodies were littered all throughout the camp. Asha slid her bloodied sword back into its sheath, stepping over the recently made corpses that were sprawled around her. Their bodies were covered in severe cuts, some nearly split in half as a result of multiple consecutive strikes. Hm, it's not quite perfected yet, she thought, heading deeper into the camp. But the next one should be the last test piece I need before I get a complete handle on it. Her gaze shifted over to a separated wave of bandits coming in from another angle. Well, I guess they'll have to suffice. One of them turned around, spotting her and readying his weapon. Wanting to get it over with quickly, Asha gave him no time to react, entering her sword drawing stance and closing the distance in the blink of an eye. The bandit being too confused and exhausted to really do anything, the slash cut through his side, cleaving straight through - the dash that accompanied the momentum of the attack place her well behind the target, wherein she converted some of that momentum into a spin that turned her around to face him again, instantly repeating the dash. The second slash finished what the first one started, completely cleaving the bandit's body in half. She ended the mental timer in her head, sighing a little slipping the sword back into its sheath. Two seconds? Not bad, it'll have to do. Not much I can do about the obvious stance, but I guess it shouldn't be a problem if I keep working on the speed. It doesn't matter if they know what I'm about to do if they don't have the reflexes to react to it. The attack she'd developed was designed to be something to use in one-on-one fights to get in multiple immediate strikes before her opponent can do anything, a quick opener to give an early advantage should they fail to counter or block it. Guess I might as well help these guys out, she thought, looking around and narrowly side-stepping to avoid a flying knife. Her attention locked on a female bandit armed with knives. Let's go for one point five seconds this time. She certainly didn't wait for her to get as close, deciding to use her razor wind technique instead by unsheathing her weapon in a rapid slashing motion that released an invisible wave of kinetic force from her blade and traveled toward the assassin. Asha followed in after her own projectile attack with a rapid dash that caught up to the projectile's speed, simultaneously launching a double attack. While the razor wind was a horizontal strike aimed toward her body, her blade attacked moved in to intercept her arm, certain that the significantly longer reach of her sword would get there if the assassin decided to completely follow through with the attack with her knife.
