Desire watched with mild disgust as Mihael ate the putrid food with relative ease. He laughed, "Just like good ol' high school."
She curled her lip in a grimace, "if this is what school food is like then I'm glad I was homeschooled." Desire admitted, sending a solemn look down at her meal. "I'm not sure how I'm going to survive if this is all they'll be serving. This doesn't even look like real food." She picked up the fork and shifted the 'food' around on her plate. It had already gone cold and the consistency reminded Dess of old sponges.
Mihael took his attention away from the food and looked up at her in a way that made Desire feel somewhat vulnerable, as though he was looking through her, and she shifted in her seat to try and rid herself of the feeling. "I'm rather interested in learning a bit about you. Where you're from, maybe? What you like to do in your spare time. Maybe some favorite musicians, small talk, really.. But most of all, I'm fascinated by the people here. What they are capable of... I'd love to know why you're here. In this... place. I've met a girl who can control the weather. How peculiar is that, hm?This place is really quite fascinating. You'll learn more as you stay, I'm sure..."
Mihael's words surprised her, though she didn't quite know why. Desire had known that there would be other people with powers at the school, but she hadn't really dwelt on it that much. A girl who could control the weather? Amazing. She found herself looking at Mihael and the others in the room differently all of a sudden. There was a pair sitting not too far away by the only window in the room, what could they do? She turned her gaze back to Mihael's striking gold eyes, what could he do?
"I'm sure this place is fascinating, what with all of the people with..abilities here. What exactly is it that you do?"
