"Leave something in my head?!", Jackson questioned a bit frantically, his voice pitched a bit higher in fright. "How the fuck am I supposed to know?! I thought you were an expert or something!" He chanced a glance at Everett before looking back into the mist around him. The blackness was drawing nearer, pressing them against the wall as the tendrils of smoke continued to bombard them. It didn't seem to interested in Everett, instead looking as if it wanted to get around the man and get to the teen. Jackson couldn't take his eyes off it it, no matter how much he wanted to look away and hide his face like a child.

He whined softly as the smoke closed in even more, tendrils of it crawling across his skin like snakes. He looked for Everett frantically but found he could see nothing anymore. Everything was blackness, and there were so sounds or smells... he couldn't even feel anything anymore... except for a strange sense of familiarity that scared him more than he should have. "Everett...?", he called out, still searching for the other man. A voice replied, though it wasn't what he expected... it was dark and cold... and it simply said. "...Got you."

"I hope not...", Olivia stated, starting to get a little worried. Though his father had always told him that worry never helped any situation. He couldn't help it... Genesis was right, they had been gone a while, and lower level demons were usually always in the shadows of more powerful ones... or so he had read.
