Now this was a call. And here he had thought that he would be getting the next few days off after all that work he had put into the house. But sure enough, something got broken already. Job security, right? Aw, Manny didn't mind. He loved his job. This was a good chance to meet the kids that were to take up residence here. And may give him a good idea how long the house would stay in good condition.
Manny was a sight coming into the driveway. With all the other agents driving lovely black SUV's, Manny was driving a white work van with a battered box trailer behind it. He scanned his ID at the gate and they did a quick check of the trailer and van and let him through. After putting the van in park, he clipped his name badge to his clothes and zipped up his pastel blue jumpsuit. Put a pencil behind his ear and his ever handy screwdriver and channel locks in his back pocket. Always great things to have on hand. Getting out, he walked and opened the sidedoors of his van to get his toolbag before making his way to the front door.
Manny was humming to himself as he got to the doorstep and firmly pressed the doorbell. And he wasn't kept waiting as the door opened quick enough. What a cute little girl. Had to be one of them aliens. They sure didn't look so different from humans. Putting on his biggest grin, he greeted her, "Well hello there! I'm Agent Collins. Word has it that there is some fixin' to be doin', as I might say. Have I come to the right house?" He asked. He knew he had. But he was being friendly, and giving the girl some control over the situation that might make her feel more at ease.
