Pit groaned as he crawled out of Christian’s bed and began getting dressed. He pulled on his boxers and his lounge pants and put a t-shirt on. The two of them headed down to the kitchen and Pit went to the cupboard to get a box of cereal. He’d been staying over so often that Christian’s parents were treating him like one of their own, which meant he had to make his own breakfast. He grabbed a bowl and the milk out of the fridge. And began pouring a bowl. Christian’s mom was smiling but looked very impatient while waiting for Christian to come down stairs. From what he’d learned from Christian’s translating this meant the she was in a hurry to leave, she wanted to talk about something serious, but it wasn’t anything bad. Pit took this info in and then poured himself a cup of coffee. He figured she was going to say something about cutting back on the sleepovers now that the school year was about to start. He took a sip of the coffee and smiled as he saw Christian come down the stairs. He loved the way Christian looked in the morning even with his hair all messy. He was always groggy and cute in a sleepy sort of way. He seemed to beam with beauty all the time and Pit could never figure out how he did it, he had to work to look good, but Christian’s beauty came naturally, whether he thought it did or not. He also didn’t see what he saw in a plain looking guy like himself or where he got the idea that he was attractive, but he wasn’t gonna argue.
