Ember Wolfe
Everything was twisting, causing her insides to contract, her pupils going wide. What the hell is going on? She felt herself stop moving and shiver... She closed her eyes and exhaled loudly, feeling as if she had just gone through one hell of a firefight... She opened her eyes to find everyone staring at her or at least... glaring at her. She felt instincts kick in and she pulled back into a defensive position... "Ace, why does Owsla have me in her sights?"
Ember had changed instantly from the jittery bug and back into her normal cool headed self. The only problem was that her cool thoughts were now entirely focused on Owsla, and... to a small extent, Jennifer. But then... Something unsettled Ember... "And why does she have her arm around you?" It sounded more like she was wondering why he was stupid enough to trust anyone like that and... just a smidgen of jealousy although she'd never admit it...
Just then, her C.A.T. decided to make an appearance and jump off her wrist. It was in its hamster-thing shape and was bouncing back and forth in front of Ember and Ace as if it a big secret to tell. "Shush! Shush! Shush!" It's constant bouncing, howver, was interrupted by Ember dropping a spoon on its head. It stopped bouncing and hissed angrily, "Shu!!!" Ember rolled her eyes in a small sign of amusement, "I don't have any chocolate... but I think he does." She pointed at Ace, her posture now relaxed, or as relaxed as she'll ever be, as she felt that things had calmed down enough.
In response to Ember's lie, the C.A.T. whizzed toward Ace and began scampering all over his body... Running up his shirt, under his chin, over his head, into his pockets and even sniffing around his feet. Even having looked over him again, the CAT did another run, this time faster and whizzing around again and again, not caring if Ace didn't like it...
