Shrade was pacing, or at least, he had been before John showed up again. "Listen, uhhhh, what just happened, I didn't know what to expect. I thought I could just, keep everyone away from my past. I brought this here, and I don't know what to do about it. This was an act of war. This, this is what I was before I came here. Our people, we will wage war. So, yeah, I'm sorry, I should've said something."
Shrade scowled, "No comment."
"I think I'm in love with your sister."
Before Shrade could snarl at John, the human took off again. Great, one crisis after another. He started pacing again, thinking of what Marcey and Kyra were talking about or if Kyra even caught up with Marcey. One thought after another.
"Hi.." Shrade looked up to see Marcey, "Ummm, that's all? You take off and just... You know, never mind." "I should go.." He watched her take off, yet again. "What is with everyone today?" He looked up at the sky as if it had the answers.
He stopped his pacing to go back to his dorm room when... "I am going into town. I am fine now, I think. I can't get back in my room to change, so I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to get some clothes or something? I guess I will crash with Kyra or something. Or was she locked in too? Heh, we might just be sleeping with you guys tonight." Shrade listened, but at the last possible second he did a double take. "Okay I'll go- Wait, what did you say?"
"So uh, the question again- come to town with me?"
Shrade had no idea what had just happened, but he nodded, trying to look like he caught everything she had just said. "Sure."
