Tyvya, concerned for the ship, contacted her team and dispatched them to critical stations on the ship. "We don't know what we're getting into," she stated calmly, her voice husky and stern. "If this is an attack, or an engine issue makes us look vulnerable, I don't want there to be any loose ends." Her team responded in the affirmative and she stood, looking to to the Captain. "I would feel better if you had an escort to the bridge, sir."

"Of course." Captain Zekr stood, the game abandoned, and she followed him to the bridge where Zekr started asking for reports from his crew. "We have to diagnose this issue as soon as possible," he said as he checked his pad and started looking at the data being forwarded to him. "This experiment is critical."

Tyvya stood at attention, her whole posture screaming her military upbringing as she kept a sharp eye on the readouts in front of her that displayed the Nobunaga's offensive and defensive details. "It wasn't an attack, Captain," she confirmed, checking and double checking all occurrences, no matter how small, in the last hour, and then further back to when the experiment had started. "We've been left entirely alone without even an aggressive ship anywhere near our trajectory."

He nodded, still looking at his pad. "Starfleet Command has sent us no messages, and it looks like there might be a problem with our communications panel. The Slipstream Drive is probably just interfering with it, we'll know more once we reach our destination and it turns off." Unspoken, hovering in the air, were words he didn't dare say, "...if we reach our destination."
