the screen black other than a thin white line
running horizontally across it. The line shakes
when the robotic voice sounds, a visual
representation of the 'voice'.
"Greetings, students. I am SW2K74, and I am your headmaster.
I know what you all must be thinking, how is a computer going to teach us anything?
I also know there's a few of you thinking about the amount of things you can
get away with, not having to worry about the headmaster rounding the corner.
For the latter, I should warn you there's cameras in nearly every room. Sorry kids.
As for the other, you shall find that out soon enough.
For now, I leave you with a list, and a banquet prepared by the finest chefs I could find.
Sleep well tonight little birds, for tonight is just the beginning.
The white line fades and up appears the list.

Their bags were taken at the door, presumably as everyone elses were, and brought up to their rooms. They were required to show their cards, in which Lou held up their joint card, The Lovers, and Tris made a comment in French under his breath about how they better not have to share a room. They were each given their respective keys then, and led off to another room. Odd as it was, they weren't permitted to go up to their dorms yet, and were instead instructed to take a seat at the long table in the dining hall and await further instructions. They both noticed the computer screen rather quickly, but when they turned around to ask about it, the maid was gone.
They sat across from each other, not too far from the head of the table, as per the name cards on their plates request. There were twelve chairs in all, not including the space the monitor was occupying at the head. Tristen silently examines everyone who walks through the door, all while maintaining a boring conversation with an excited Louella to mask the fact he was judging everyone. Though he was finally freed from her grasp when a green-haired girl took the seat next to his sister, and she began shyly introducing herself to the green.
Come time everyone had shuffled in and taken their seats, the lights dimmed and the voice spoke, and finally list showed up on the screen and the lights went back to full brightness in the room, Tristen is fairly positive he made a mistake in letting his sister convince him into coming here. Lou turned to her new green haired friend excitedly, while Tris let his gaze roam to the guy next to him. "Rook, I presume?"
Just in time for the waiters to come bustling in, carrying their feast.
