Keikei jumped to her feet when she heard Maxwell mention that her phone was ringing. She retrieved it from her purse and answered it, finding that it was her mother. After a few minutes of talking to Alani on the phone, she hang up and made her way back into the kitchen with Maxwell. "I have to go see my mom, she's crying and won't tell me exactly what's going on until I get there. Would you mind taking me?" she questioned, hoping that he would be able to do it right now.
Keikei hated seeing her mother like this, whenever she needed to talk to her about something important that she was very devastated about, Keikei knew it was never a good thing. All she wanted to do right now was be there for her through whatever she was going through. But honestly, she didn't seem to understand why Logan wasn't there comforting her. Something really has to be going on between the two of them and she had a huge feeling that it wasn't good.

When Keikei answered the phone, all Alani was able to say was, "Kei, could you please come home, I need you." When Keikei told her that she would she hung up the phone and sat there at the table, still crying. Everything in her life was falling apart, though she knew it could be worse, but she was just glad she had Addison and Keikei and they would never leave her, no matter what.
