The whole day pretty much, Maxwell was gone to Marine Boot Camp, and he was going to be shipped off sometime within the next two weeks or so. You could say he was excited, but he wasn't ready to leave his fiance. He cried a little going back to his place that night, and sat on the couch, his head in his hands.
Jackson did everything alone that day, and when the end of school came about, just to make sure, he left Lani a voicemail.
"Hey Lani, it's me, Jackson. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I will pick up Addison this afternoon, as I'm sure you're still running about." He chuckles a little. "See you later." .
Then, he picked up the girl in front of the school. "Daddy!" Jackson smiled. "Hey hun. How's your day?" Addison smiled. "Better with you in it." Jackson smiled, and drove her to her home, stopping outside to just drop her off.
