As they were walking down the street, there was a nagging feeling in the back of Verena's mind. It was as if something, or someone was watching her. Following her. Stalking. Whoever it is was trying to hide in the shadows, but that wasn't working. The demon knew it was there. Jake knew it was there. And it wasn't long before they both came to the realization was a hunter. The stealth mode and shuffling through the shadows was something they did. It was quiet annoying. Especially because they weren't good at it. If they were going to sneak up on the two most wanted demons roaming earth they were going to have to try a bit harder. They stopped walking and she removed her hands from her boyfriend to cross her arms over her chest. "If you're attempting to be sneaky you're doing an awful job little hunter" The couple turned around to see a buff man coming to the light. He was holding a rather impressive gun towards the two. Most would tremble in fear. Not these two. "Hi there" This particular greeted their victims with open arms. A smirk came to her face as she imagined a couple different ways she could kill the man before her. For a moment she glanced at her boyfriend. She wasn't one to share her kills, but she would if it meant Jake got a new tattoo. "So did you need something or can we go?" She asked, her attention going back to the hunter. "You two are under arrest for your multiple crimes against society and the hunters." The man stated. Verena almost laughed.
Her grey orbs glanced around the empty alleyway. There was one of him and two of them. It only took half the power she had to take him down. And he was alone. Did he think they were just going to rollover? Even with a gun that could possibly be full of gold bullets, he wasn't going to catch them. The hunter couldn't have been that dumb. "Please tell me you aren't alone. I want to give you at least a small chance to beg for your life."
