Kelsie had started running, and was smiling as she got near the car, when she turned and saw Liam on the ground. "No! Liam!" She felt her eyes pricking tears. She didn't know the cook had called the police, so her next actions weren't impossible. She bit her lip as she saw her mother walking towards Liam, rage in her eyes. "Mom!" She screamed, and started running towards the unconscious body, her mother looking up. "Nooo!" She cried, as she threw herself between Liam, the knife, and her mother.
She managed to pin her mother to the ground, and was surprised when her eyes were shut. "M-mom?" She asked, and felt a pain in her stomach. Gasping, she got off of her, and tears rushing down her eyes. The knife was in her mother's abdomen, and Kelsie hadn't meant to kill her own mother.
Fortunately, the officers had been running towards them as Kelsie lept on to her, and knew she was a cold-blooded killer. "Hun, c'mon, get up." He said, the other checking out Liam. "B-but.. M-mom.." Her lip quivered and she buried her face in her hands, wishing Liam was awake.
