In replying to her siblings, Adeline missed the black-haired figure that passed by her, barely hearing the opening of a door upstairs. "Miss Baudin?" She hung her head over the back of the couch and smiled up at who she assumed was Erza Hart.
"Oui! Ce'st moi~"
Adeline closed her phone and shoved it in her pocket, hopping off the couch and skipping over to where her new roommate was. "So, you're Erza. Your name is another version of Elizabeth or Elsa and means 'God is my Oath,' but from what I can tell, you don't really seem all that religious, though I could be wrong~"
Smirking slightly, Adeline took a bow that was more for show then for honor, making it seem as fancy and sarcastic as she could. She laughed as she stood back up and introduced herself. "My name is Adeline Baudin, you can call me whatever you like. My first name means 'Little Noble' but I doubt you'll find me as noble as that sounds, I'm really more of a rebel. Its nice to meet you, by the way!"
Adeline spotted Vinh going up the stairs, and would have said hello to him, but figured her new roommate was priority and she could talk to him later.
It wasn't until she looked back to Erza that she started to take not of her appearance. Masculine. That was the first word that came to mind, and not in a bad way either. Erza was actually quite attractive, and though her sense of style was much simpler than she was used to, it wasn't even close to unfashionable.
"Ah! I didn't know which side of the room you wanted, so I didn't unpack yet."
Skipping up and into their room, Adeline spun around in a circle to face the door and smiled. "I don't really mind where my stuff goes, so you get first pick~" Humming quietly, she walked over to her suitcase and sat down on it, turning to her cell as to not put pressure on Erza for speedy choosing.
So far this Erza girl - or guy, it was too soon to tell how Erza wished to be called - wasn't so bad. Adeline's previous roommate, an upperclassmen named Genevive, had been a bit...well, annoying. She'd known the woman since her sister Anette was in High School, and ever since she'd first met Genevive the woman had been dating guy after guy after guy. Adeline doubted that Erza was of the same stature.
From what Adeline had been told, Erza was a Double Major, with both Theater and Music. It was interesting that someone would be able to juggle two different career paths while still having a social life. Well, not that she really knew if Erza had a social life, but assuming she did have one, it was interesting.
"I hope this isn't too forward or anything, but I hope we can be friends."
Adeline hadn't ever had too any real friends in her nineteen years since her mother had always kept her busy with the violin. She hoped Erza would be her first.
