As Jeremy listened to all the others powers and skills and what not, he then completely lost track as soon as will mentioned 'Stranger then usual'. It was because he immediately had something come to mind. His mom's disappearance. It had been labled a kidnapping at least, because of the strangeness of the disappearance. She had disappeared right after leaving work. Well, leaving is the wrong word. She had just finished for the day, and the camera saw her heading towards the exit...and that is the last seen of her. The camera on the exit does not see her leave, and it wasn't sabotaged or hacked or anything, and the camera that saw her last never saw her head back. There is a single hallway in the blindspot between those two cameras, and no other exits for her to use. She just disappeared in that hallway, with no reason or explanation. The only reason he did not bring it up recently because it was personal.

So instead, he responded with a slight sarcastic voice. He also displayed three different tells that he was hiding something, but whether people noticed them he did not know. "Stranger then getting super powers, people dropping dead, and random natural events of a chaotic nature all after a meteor that people thought might take out the planet did not?" And then, it turned out he did not need any additional pressure. "Well, there is one thing...its just...its kinda personal...not good with personal, okay, but it might be something. My mom....she just disappeared....its kinda complicated..."

He then proceeded to explain the whole situation, including the camera thing, and how she seemed to just literally disappear. "I don't know, maybe there is just some other thing or maybe the cameras were just manipulated so well and she was kidnapped normally, it just....well, what makes it weird is that she didn't drop dead. She just disappeared, without a trace. There have been a few other cases, but none had those factors that made it super weird. THey had suggestions that they were the same, but there were no cameras, or obvious other ways of getting out unseen. I just figured, since they disappeared instead of being dead, or at least my mom seemed to literally disappear, it might be something. It is....kind of why I went looking for a group like this in the first place..."

he was now really hoping they did not just think he was crazy or wrong or something.
