Keoni

Keoni sighed loudly when he finally found Platform Nine and Three Quarters. The boy looked around to see if anyone was looking then silently disappeared into the brick wall. Miko was shifting uncomfortably in Keoni's backpack. The creature hated being cooped up, but it wasn't common at all for a young boy to be walking around with a raccoon in a train station. Keoni's dad didn't come, but he didn't really mind. It gave him the freedom to run on his own schedule. He pulled himself into the train and let Miko out. The little raccoon stretched and started sniffing around, looking for food most likely. "Miko, come on," Keoni said and started peeking in the compartments, trying to find an empty one.

He only had to walk past a few to find one that wasn't occupied; he got to the station rather early. Miko climbed up on the seat across from him, then jumped off and began searching underneath for crumbs. Keoni reached into his pack and pulled out a little sack and shared a cookie with Miko. "Here, it's double chocolate fudge your favorite," he said as he dropped it on the floor. "I doubt we'll get to be alone much longer so we're going to have to enjoy it while we can," Keoni sighed and looked out the window, watching all the wizards and witches appearing from the brick wall.


Saoirse

For the most part, Saoirse was having a good day. She was allowed to wear what she wanted, as long as she pushed her hair back with a head band the way her mother liked. Saoirse was holding onto her cat and glancing around the platform, looking for Joshua. Her mum was telling her something about being safe and to study hard, but the girl wasn't paying attention, just nodding. When she finally spotted her friend boarding the train, she said goodbye to her parents and followed after him. Just as she was walking down the hall, she heard someone scream and go running from a compartment he was just looking in. Saoirse's curiosity got the best of her and she went to look what could be inside. Not to her surprise, she found Joshua, morphed into a wolf.

Saoirse glared at Josh for bringing up that story, but she couldn't help but let out a small giggle. It was a pretty fun night. "That wasn't that funny. We almost got caught that night since it took us so long to get down," she crossed her arms and tried not to smile. Her star ws quickly broken when he showed her his picture. She always loved his drawings. He was always so careful about the details. Looking at the drawing made her think how cool it would be to bring it to life. She didn't remember seeing anything about that in anything she'd read before, but she figured once they were a little higher up in school, they'd start learning how to do things like that. "It's beautiful," she complimented, taking the picture to look at it even closer. Just as she was about to ask him to draw the caste when they arrived, there was a knock at the door. Saoirse glanced at Josh and then opened the door. A boy and a girl were standing there. They looked a lot alike, so Sao assumed they were brother and sister. She clenched her jaw and looked back and forth from their faces. "What?" She asked, trying not to sound too mean.
She hoped they didn't want to sit in there, she was really hoping for some time with Josh. She glanced back and Josh gave her a look that almost said [i]'be nice'[i]. She bit the inside of her cheek and sat down next to Josh, making room for the girl and boy to sit down. She thought she recognized them, but she couldn't quite place their faces and why they looked so familiar. "What are your names?" She asked dryly, not seeming actually curious about who they were.
