Welcome back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Now, as I am sure you remember, Hogwarts got totally wrecked completely demolished during the Battle of Hogwarts. It took several years, even with magic, to repair everything. Possibly because Hogwarts was not just rebuilt, but expanded. After all, a new generation of Witches and Wizards would need more rooms, and what not. Entire ruined sections of the Castle were actually sealed off, other rooms revealed. Some believe that the entire castle holds lost sections, and in order to stop evil from utilizing them, new secret passages replaced the old. Its like a whole new castle. Well, almost. The moving staircase is still there, and it still moves. The Quiddich Field is still up. Oddly enough, not a single person entered the library during the battle. They found a highly complex dungeon network below.

You are the next generation of First Years. Now, I know what you are thinking. Everything will be fine now. STOP THINKING THAT! A new dark force lingers....one that will cause nothing but fear and chaos. But don't worry! Your a first year! I am sure you will be fine, especially with the new schedules and everything! After all, you are in Hogwarts after all!

Now, all of you got a letter, detailing what you should get for your first year of Hogwarts. However, it is also important to remember not just what you should get, but the fact that you could go anywhere. Litterally, someone has been pranking people with fluu powder. But anyways, what is important to remember is that you could enter any house....but things always get sorted evenly. Or, maybe all the heroes get stacked in Gryphindor? Anyways, Schedules, which have also been revamped, are as follow (to make everything simpler, everyone gets the same schedule):

11AM: Defense Against the Dark Arts

1:30PM: Broomstick Training
2:20PM: Studies of the Astral Plane

Tuesdays and Thursdays:
10AM: Herbology
11AM: Transfiguration
11:50AM: Dr. Lune's Class of Random Knowledge
1PM: Muggle Studies.
2:20PM: Divination



Monday and Friday Nights: Astrology, Astronomy, and all things to do with the stars.

Okay, and now with some important announcements:
1: So, usually I like to get as many people as I can. That said, Hogwarts RPs I notice tend to work best with a small, dedicated group. So, I am going to see how many people we get, and then figure things out.
2: BE CREATIVE! Come on, this is a magical wonderland basically!
3: Time spacing is going to be a critical thing here. I would like to get through the whole first two days, but for it to work, several things need to happen. One, two people cannot just go tagging themselves and getting really far ahead of the group. I want to keep everyone on the same day, and even the same hour when possible. Two, I will have to do timeskips. They might be sudden, they might not, but otherwise it will take us a month to get through five days of IC time. And Three, each and every class will take two to three posts. No more, no less. Two to get in everything you need, and technically that third should be you reacting to anything, and then walking out of the classroom, either to a next class or for some free time inbetween classes. I will be listing some locations soon enough. And finally, four: I am therefore going to be timemaster. I will be posting the time in my posts, but no one else is to.
4: You can have any pet that is not a dog, so long as it is around the size of an owl, cat, or so forth, or smaller.

Remember, we want to keep this moving, not have it stop in its tracks.

Other things will be put up and updated as needed. As for what you can put in your post, so long as you do not have "passionately romatic nighttime stuff", excessive gore or cursing, or anything which makes no sense. Normal or below levels of violence, non-detailed nudity (Basically, just saying your character is naked but not going into any details at all reguarding specifics), and anything that would make sense in/for the Hogwarts setting is fine. Collaboration is highly recommended.
