The sun began to fade as the moon took over. As the hour was now close to midnight, the alarm clock that the father had set began to ring but was silenced after a few seconds, he then got up off of his bed and reached under his bed and pulled out a black case with a cross sign on top of it. He unlatched the locks and opened the case to reveal two modified bayonets made out of silver and next to them were daggers each made out of silver.

The man gathered his equipment and placed them all under his large grey Cossack before proceeding to the kitchen counter to grab his thermas full of coffee. With everything he needed with him, he left his room and walked through the eerily silent church with only the sound of his breathing to keep him company. Soon he arrived at the front door of the church and produced a key from his pocket before unlocking the door and stepping outside onto the dark streets and locking the door behind him. "Oh holy father...may you watch over me this night and protect me so I, Aindreas Gòrdanach may live to see tommorow. Amen." With his short prayer out of the way he began to walk the empty streets with the moonlight to guide his path. For most people the moon was a beautiful sight, for him it was just a sign that the creatures of the night could come out freely and prey on the homeless and innocent, so with that thought always in his mind the sight of the moon made him sick.

As he continued to walk down the street, he had thought of an something to tell people why he was out if he was ever questioned and that simple response would be, "I'm keeping an eye out for the killer on the loose." And that statement was not a lie, he was indeed looking for a killer on the loose. With his thoughts keeping him company he slowly began to realize that the night was silent, a little bit too silent for comfort.
