Etheline laced her fingers together and stretched her arms out above her head as she contemplated the question posed to her. A series of audible pops and cracks would be heard as she lolled her head from one side to the other, hair falling into her face. After this short display, Etheline began to peer at the others curiously.
As Gabriel spoke, she kept attentive, following his movements across the room and nodding in agreement with his suggestion to look in the woods. The longer they spent together, Etheline too became aware of how polarizing the two pairs were. However much she disliked to visualize the metaphor, she supposed there really was more than one way to skin a cat.
"I would have to say that I agree with Gabriel, if only because it seems like the only lead we've turned up here. It's a little cliche," she wrinkled her nose at this, as if to display her distaste, "But it makes sense, right? Maybe the Witch is operating under the pretense that we would assume that would be the last place she would go. Curious."
She had to begun to ramble now, excited by how what she considered to be a 'case' was unfolding. After a moment of silence, her face decorated with a look of concentration, she chuckled slightly aloud and visibly shrugged her shoulders.
"Yeah, I got nothin' else. Forest it is! When do we go? Also where is it? If it's far, maybe we should break for something to eat first, can't solve a mystery on an empty stomach!"
She slung the backpack off of her back and began to unzip it, oblivious now to the others and focused on the prospect of feeding them all.
