The paladin didn't seem to care about the armor Lance failed to get. He could find armor almost anywhere. As if a case in point the group soon found the arch demon trader in the middle of the floor. Satogi tried to trade a few things for some new armor, not sure where he would get since all he had was the couple of trinkets that hadn't been stolen from him by the elf. Koko on the other hand had more to trade and asked to see the demon's inventory. Both were not very well off on loot, and combined all they had was a magical spyglass and scraps of random trinkets of varying effect and little amounts of gold. In the end Satogi decided against getting anything and would find armor on his own. Koko had the same plan, minus the armor of course. They waited for Lance to do his shopping so they could explore more of the 4th floor.
