Just as expected, Blade was there to the rescue, making sure they regretted what they had tried to do - though with one missing an eye, that was probably a big enough lesson. Turning the lights back on, Sera shot Blade a thumbs up and a grin, gathering her bags and climbing back into the car, counting what she gathered now that the bandits were out of sight. After a few minutes, Sera tied the plastic bags up, carefully depositing them into the back of the car. "That should be enough to feed everyone for a few days." Sera said clinically, then grinned at the boss, eyes gleaming. "You could've just killed them, though! I mean, they're just gonna cause more innocents trouble later on if we leave them alive, right? Are you too much of a goody two-shoes to get rid of'em, boss?" Sera had a rare teasing smile, patting Blade on the back from the passenger's seat. "I'm joking, I'm joking, probably. Let's keep going, we've gotta find antibiotics for the sick people!"
As they drove to the suburban district, where houses lines with identical houses filled the streets, it just made Sera feel strange. She never really lived in a normal kind of house before, never really had that kind of normal life. Her whole childhood was being stuffed in a science lab, poked with needles, prodded with metal things, and forced to make fire to test out a dangerous thing inside her hand. She had no idea what it meant to be normal, really. Heck, Sera wasn't even sure what it was even like to be loved - all she knew was that at some point, probably, everything could be taken away from her if she wasn't careful. A determined glare was on Sera's face as she and Blade looted houses, gathering more supplies, but still failing to find the medicine they needed.
"...Hey, while we're here..." Sera looked up at the boss, a quizzical look on her face. "If we have spare time, we could hunt down the main base where the bandits live. If we kill them all, then that means there's less mouths to feed overall, right?" A dangerous smile was on her face, excitement of a battle. "The less people alive in Kokkua, the more food our team gets, right? But if you don't wanna, that's fine. It was just an idea."
Sera really wanted to go and kill them, but she knew Blade was the boss. In the end, it was his decision. But scum like that who were a threat to their livelihood, wasn't it smart to clean them out before they pressed the attack?
