The group was in the safe room within the hour. Na'ari silently listened to The conversation. However when told of the living arrangements for the night he frowned under his visor. Na'ari realized that if his and Eloise's assumptions were correct, the person who gave their outside assassin the info would be close at hand. Which means, he only had one shot at it. "This is agreeable." Said the king.

It was later that night that The Prince opened his eyes and checked to make sure people were asleep. Theodra was sleeping soundly on the love seat whilst the chancellor laid upon the couch almost in an almost serene manner. The bedroom door was closed and the lights were out. The prince looked and saw the helmet resting on its side on the pillow, therefore thinking that the bodyguard was sound asleep.
He pulled out a small holocomunnicator and went to a private spot in the safe room and pressed it. "You missed every single shot. Even when I told you to infiltrate quietly."
"Apologies. The alarms sounded right as I entered the room. Also, there is also the new fact Na'ari Azura is the Chancellor's bodyguard." Came the garbled voice on the other end.
"The Don should've supplied you better. Now I'll have to take care of things. As for this bodyguard.... He won't be a problem." The prince turned off the Holocommunicator and pulled out a small knife and went to where Na'ari should be sleeping. Quietly he moved the helmet, only to have it move with a clang on the floor once pushed off the pillow.
"What in the-?" Was all the prince could say when the safe room lights turned on.
"Drop it Your Highness. Hand behind you." Na'ari stated, blaster pistol in hand and sitting on the counter. He then pushed a button on the counter as the other guards came in.
"Clever for a commonor. I take it you wired the bedroom too?" The prince asked as he began to be arrested.
"I'll say your father now knows you tried to pull off a coup twice this evening. And that you hired that assassin. But for me," Na'ari slapped the prince across his face. "That's for endangering the Chancellor, and for making your own sister cry. A true son and brother wouldn't do such things."
Na'ari then put on his helmet again to hide his own angered face. The Prince was now in the Chancellor's custody.

The next morning Na'ari sat at a separate table whilst the Chancellor talked with the rest of the Avalonian family. He didn't want Eloise to see that he had a rough sleep last night. He remembered the day of his father's funeral. And how some of his sisters, in their own grief and anguish, angrily blamed him for not being there to protect him.
He simply just watched the morning discussions, not feeling at all like his usual self, wishing for a friend. For someone he can just talk to.
