Chloe Williams
A room full of predators alike, there's only one real outcome.
Chloe can feel it, like spiders crawling along her limbs. Bones aching with the feel of it, deep, weary, and it has her gripping tight to Bels arm the second that shattering can be heard. Senna, in some fruitless effort aiding her along with his other. Nothing they do stops him - and its a damn shame, they were really getting somewhere. Enough small talk and maybe they could have settled on more than just the mindless sex and drugs deal they had going. Chloe backs off into the crowd the second shit goes south. Bullets and fists aren't her forte, she won't even pretend to like the idea of a bar brawl. Not when shes got things to preserve, can't make money if you've got a black eye and bloody nose - not that she'd never faced that dilemma in the past.
Plus there was a kid involved, and despite her own faults she didn't want to see someone else's kid caught up in no crossfire. And Bels fight with the Bates was none of her goddamn business anyway, she knew how to pick her battles.
They always say learn from your mistakes.
Well Chloe is going learn from hers now. Yet she can't help but watch in fascination, some sick need to see what goes down. Heart telling her that she should be doing something to help but fuck it, what the hell does her heart know anyway. She's content to step back. Survey the situation. Watches Bel get chewed out by the owner, Jona, whom she's been eyeing for a while now; this place is doing well. Slowly tracks sweet young Hani as she goes to pull Bel away, questions why she would do that, but there is something that changes drastically from one moment to the next. Perhaps spurred on by Hani, or Jona, or even by the Bates boys but Bel actually leaves and that - well, that is simply amazing.
Past mistakes be damned. She quickly asserts herself back at the bar, paying no mind to the ongoings now that she's got the time to actually think. Mind rustling with this newly acquired information. With everything happening at once she almost feels shafted, dust on the wind by this point. There's no telling where Bel ran off to and Senna is busy enough doing her own thing. Chloe is content on her own, enjoys it even but with her brain working a mile a minute she knows that shes gonna work herself up. Rarely do her gears get turning so crazily as they have today but damn, she needs a good lay and money to spend.
So she orders a couple more shots for the road and does her damndest to find an able body that's ready to give her more than bargained for.
