For it being the first time Jae had kissed another guy, he was relatively calm. For a moment it felt like this was it and all was right with the world, but that wasn't the case. Not in the slightest. Being realistic, there was really no point to this small confession. Soon enough Jae would be going back to his family in Seoul and Crispin would be returning to his, thousands of miles away. There's no way of knowing if they will ever see each other again, and on top of that, Jae's family would never get behind this. Bur right now wasn't the moment to think about any of that. Priorities were getting everyone home, safe and sound, and back to their families. The two reached the apartment in no time. Jae followed the Englishman inside. It sounded like they were all in the kitchen, and by the smell taking up the apartment, there was some kind of desert making going on. "We have come back from the great beyond with presents!" he announces happily and sets the bag on top of the table for everyone to have a go and find what was brought for them, meanwhile his attention was pulled from the clothing to whatever was inside the oven that smelled so good.

Alex and Sam worked smoothly, perfectly in harmony like a well oiled machine, and were able to have the batter finished and in the oven in a matter of minutes. The red head got a high five from the younger boy and looked down at the already inflating batter through the small glass window of the oven. "Good job my culinary partner!" she added with a smile. It was the most trivial thing she had done in a while, which is probably why it made her feel so happy and light hearted. Nothing to worry about except for the possibility of the brownies burning. "We have come back from the great beyond with presents!" the small Korean announced as he waltzed into the kitchen. It was about time they made it back.

Taemin was worried the second he saw his best friend walking in. WHat Elani had told him earlier replayed in his head and he really hoped his intruding hadn't made the situation worse. Though Jae looked happy, he had always been too good at hiding his feelings with a smile. Tae watched him for a moment, trying to decipher whether the smile was genuine or just an attempt to keep them from worrying. It's times like this when Jae's ability would come in handy. "Are those brownies?" he asks excitedly. Taemin nods with a smile and gestures towards Sam and Alex. "Made by professionals".
