She beamed as Peter arrived, having to remind herself to sit down carefully with her skirt. She laughed at his apologies about the food. "This is cool, Peter! I'm not that hungry anyway," she replied, shrugging a little. She laughed again about the wine, pulling out the plastic cups and poured some wine into both.
"What, does it have to be a special event for wine?" She asked, handing him a plastic cup. "I just fancied something a little fancier than lemonade, you know?" She giggled to herself as she took a sip of her own. "Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and plastic cups. The wine is the only grown-up thing here, and that's including the pair of us," she remarked, picking up a sandwich and taking a bite. As nervous as she had been, she was already much more calm with Peter there. But that was always the way, wasn't it? It wasn't that she was only half of a pair- if she'd learned anything during her time in the non-magical world, it was that she was a whole person without him. It was that they'd spent so long with each other, that when they spent time together, it felt so natural.
