Charlotte could only roll her eyes at Jazmyn's rebuttal to her comments, and the reference to her hookup with Michaela. While she had been surprised that the girls had hooked up that night a while back, it hadn't been shocking. It wasn't like they were heading down the alter, and in a way, she admired how chill Mickey and Jazz were, in that they could get that stupid, and literally just laugh about it the next day. Charlotte was in no way a hopeless romantic or anything like that, and she loved random hookups and one night stand deals too, but she couldn't imagine doing that with one of her best friends. It was scary, especially when it had to have been very in-the-moment, given that Charlie had never seen any signs that there was any real sexual tension between her best friends. They must have either been beyond drunk, or just really decided to go out on a limb that night, and either way, Charlotte felt like she was too guarded and reserved for something like that. She was beyond confident that her side of the bet would never have to happen, which was why she readily shook Jazmyn's extended hand. She didn't even consider that she was getting herself in over her head, because there was no way that Juliette would kiss Jazmyn in the next twenty four hours. As long as Juliette was sober, there was no way, Charlotte told herself.
She had never been big on school spirit of the activities that the resident life advisers tried to put together every year. She didn't mind socializing, necessarily, but school-related socializing, on her own free time, was definitely pushing her limits. She could be a social butterfly while drinking and partying, and even in class, she was more friendly than her reputation placed her as being, but spending free time in her day interacting with kids she didn't care about.... yeah, that wasn't really her thing. She would find it much more preferable to sit in bed with a book or Netflix playing on her laptop, taking a nap, or studying. Being alone felt so much more comfortable than meaningless interactions, and for Charlotte, a lot of normal socialization fell into that "meaningless" category. Charlotte hated Facebook, and with her anti-activities mindset in place, she never would have bothered to check to see what game her class was playing this year, if Michaela hadn't acted as if it was so intriguing. She rolled her eyes at that, and failed at trying to suppress her smirk that almost felt like it was creeping onto her face with the same sort of embarrassed blush that she had felt before. When she read her own message on her phone and found that her target was Michaela, she decided that maybe she could play along. Maybe it would be fun this year. "Maybe I'll step it up this year and actually try. Who knows, if I turn on my competitive mode, you very well might end up begging for my mercy," she decided teasingly, standing up from Jazmyn's beg to approach Michaela in a playful prowl before placing a finger under the girl's chin and winking seductively. She laughed it off right afterwards, before looking back to Jazmyn. "As for you, I'd take you out without even considering any sort of mercy," she said, her tone far more jovial now than it would have been five minutes ago, addressing Jazmyn.
"But before we even think about playing this little game, I'm kinda feeling a smoke session. I know it's risky to do on the first day back, but which one of you's got weed on you?" Jazmyn had just flown in from out of state, so unless she had picked some up some time between landing at the airport and now, Charlotte doubted she would have any. She looked to Jazmyn first, because of that, as the corners of her lips turned up into a smile. "Or, you keep eating your pudding and help this one get her room in order, and just let me smoke your stuff in your room, on my own," she said, tilting her head just slightly and she gave her a "pretty please?" kind of look.
