Merchants barked at passers-by to purchase their goods, ranging from snow globes that contain miniature versions of landmarks to strange, mechanical companions, and the pub nearby has it's intoxicated 23rd customer, a Robloxian with an eyepatch, thrown out through the doors, with the barkeep yelling, "That's enough Crisis Brandy for you, you mongrel!" Several Skelecoot tinkerers, standing in alley ways to keep out of the wave of bystanders, tinkered with their gadgets, some resembling fireworks, as they were preparing for New Creation Day on October 16th. It was known of Skelecoot tinkerers to be a few fuses short of a fusebox due to their exposure to Innovatium, a mystical substance said to be the same material that makes the Imagiverse, and the main resource used to power Skelecoot technology. It was even said that Jonathan Skelecoot, the governor of the Skelecoots, was as cuckoo as a Swiss clock in the Evertree Forest due to "Innovatium poisoning" (although, many other factors contribute to this as well).
By the center of the centre, the Hand statue in the fountain, dubbed Albert, rumbled to life and cried, "There is congestion in the portal-way to Toontown! If you wish to travel there, please take the portals from Equestria or Robloxia!" He then returned to his original pose, holding his pinkie finger to the sky as if asking an apple tree for an apple, and stiffened.
